LESSON 5: CONE OF EXPERIENCE

         LESSON 5:

                                                               CONE OF EXPERIENCE

The Cone shows the progression of experiences from the most concrete (at the bottom of the cone) to the most abstract (at the top of the cone).

It is believed that any and all of the approaches could and should be used, depending on the needs of the learner. It shows what students will be able to do at each level of the Cone (the learning outcomes they will be able to achieve) relative to the type of activity they are doing (reading, hearing, viewing images, etc.).
It is important to remember that this does not mean reading and listening are not valuable learning experiences, simply that “doing the real thing” can lead to the retention of the largest amount of information. This is in part because those experiences near the bottom of the Cone, closer to and including real-world experiences, make use of more of our senses; it is believed that the more senses that are used, the greater our ability to learn from and remember an event or experience.

LESSON 4: SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO TEACHING

                         LESSON 4:

SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO TEACHING

Instructor should begin his/her lesson with defining the subjects or lessons objective for us learners to be acquainted with the subject. This helps us to appreciate the method they use while imparting their knowledge to us.

As a future teacher, I am also preparing my self to be able to produce a systematized instruction. The use of learning materials , equipments and facilities are big help for me to assist in defining  and delivering the discussion.

The effective teaching is when your students learned from what yo imparted to them, and that makes a successful teaching. It is the most important thing of all, when your students learned from you and from what you discussed to them.

LESSON 3: TECHNOLOGY: BOON OR BANE?

                       LESSON 3:

TECHNOLOGY: BOON OR BANE?

Technology for me is a blessing to education. With technology, there is a lot we can do which we couldn't do easily for the past years. Cellphone, which is a product of technology helps us to communicate our loved ones who is far away from home. It makes more closer and possible for us to talk and keep in touch with them.

Thinking with how exciting  and engaging the teaching and learning with the use of multimedia in the classroom. And think of the many humans lives been saved because of speedy notifications via televisions.

Therefore, as a human which wisely use technology in good purpose, can say that it is a big blessing.

LESSON 2

LESSON 2:

We talked about the different ways of how a teacher teach his/her students. Students are not all the same and intelligent as we expected that they will understand the lessons easily. With this situation, our we discussed some of the great people from Ancient times until the 20th century who made and proposed some techniques. I learned from them, especially from the one who proposed the "concrete to abstract" method in teaching that we should begin our lesson from the basic. This method will be a great help for me and for everybody in the future, if God forbids, we will become a teacher someday. I'm sure I will use this kind of technique because for me, it will fit for my students-to-be someday.

LESSON 1: INTRODUCTION TO ED TECH 1

LESSON 1:

INTRODUCTION TO EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY 1

Learning and studying this subject is very helpful nowadays. This subject tackles about technology, which is an important tool in order for us to communicate and make things easily. My learning about computer/technology is growing because of this subject. I am thankful that this subject is added for the curriculum so that students today will not find difficulties for the future living with technology. And I am happy knowing that while I'm learning the subject, I'll also be able to share my thoughts in this blog. A big thanks to our teacher :)
